Geldik is a stop tracking application developed for public transportation users in Istanbul. It provides real-time location tracking on Metrobus, metro, tram, and Marmaray lines, helping users see when they will reach their target stop.
The Geldik app only uses your device's GPS location data. This data:
- Is processed only on your device and is never sent to any server.
- Is not stored, saved, or shared with third parties in any way.
- Is used solely to detect the nearest stop and notify you when you are approaching your target stop.
The app requires location access to perform its core functionality. Background location access is used only when the alarm feature is active, to notify you as you approach your target stop even when your screen is off. When the alarm is turned off, background location tracking automatically stops.
Your app preferences (such as theme selection, language preference, and last selected target stop) are stored locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to any server.
The Geldik app currently does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Our app is not specifically intended for children, but it is safe for users of all ages. No personal data is collected.
